Bad Planet is back

Bad Planet #2Issue #1 of Bad Planet was published back in December 2005. I thought it looked like a good comic. Unfortunately issue #2 never materialised.

Well, it seems the wait is over. After a year and a half wait issue #2 is finally being released today, 8 August.

Aint it cool posted a review saying that it is quite good, “essentially CRITTERS meets THE THING meets ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK meets INVADERS FROM MARS”. Featuring all the things a growing boy needs: humour, violence and sex.

Fanboy Radio #405 has an interesting interview with Thomas Jane (the author).

Looks like I’ll have to stick my head into the local comic shop and pick up a copy. See if the wait was worth it.

Continuing the superhero theme…

Who will be eatern first?

Wandering Google, looking for sites about Necronomicon in Sydney (the RPG convention) I came across this interesting cartoon.

Tracting the Necronomicon

It has important information about why you should join a Cthulhu cult, and choose to be eatern first.

Bad Planet

Bad Planet 1Picked up an interesting comic recently called Bad Planet. A dark sci-fi title. Nice art and interesting dialogue.

Wounding when the next issue would come out I found that this one is dated ‘December 2005′. Half a year ago. A quick google found only references to the first issue of a twelve part series. Ok, there is some mention of issue two and three, but I can’t find any release dates.

So I wounder, did this comic get past issue one? would be worth reading. Will have to chase my local comic shop about this.
