Do you ever look at the window displays in department stores in the city?
Standing at the bus stop outside David Jones women’s building I was intrigued by the window display. It just felt a little odd.
Don’t their faces look just a little masculine to you? A little too square jawed?
Now, while I have no problem with equal opportunity. Is there a reason that the window appears to be full of cross-dressing mannequins?
Perhaps it is just that they ran out of women’s heads and had to borrow some from the men’s department. Or that there is a generic unisex head that is used for gender.
Do you know why the mannequin heads look like they do?
